Varsity Jackets

Juniors and Seniors who have completed 3 to 4 years with the Blue and Gold Regiment qualify to purchase a varsity jacket.

Qualifications:

You can purchase a varsity jacket in your 3rd and 4th year of band and color guard by showing a good example in class, attending after-school practices, and Saturday practices, performing the music repertoire, and completing our fall competitions.

You do not earn your patches if (effective September 2024):

You do not qualify to purchase a varsity jacket if miss 2 or more unexcused after-school rehearsal absences.
You do not qualify to purchase a varsity jacket if you miss an unexcused competition.
You do not qualify to purchase a varsity jacket if you do not show good behavior in class and we constantly contact your parents due to behavioral issues.
You do not qualify to purchase a varsity jacket if you are not prepared in class, lose your music, and forget your instrument.

The cost is $185 (price may vary per Elk Grove Screen Printing)

This is not a mandatory item.

Blue and White chevron - Each year a regiment member completes a winter percussion, winterguard, winter drum major, indoor winds, and jazz band.

Star - Each year a regiment member is in leadership

Winter Drum Major Patch

Winter Drum Majors who have completed the winter season qualify to purchase a Winter DM patch. The more orders we gather...the price is less. Mr. Sebastian will monitor this form to make sure the sign-ups are those who have completed a season. 1 patch per qualifying student performer. The blue and white chevrons represent how many years you have been in Winter DM.

Price per patch is $30 if less than the minimum.

Prices may vary depending on how many orders per year.

Jazz Band members that completed a whole year qualify to purchase an EGHS Jazz Patch. The more orders we gather...the price is less. Mr. Sebastian will monitor this form to make sure the sign-ups are the ones who completed the jazz band. 1 patch per qualifying student performer. The chevrons blue and white chevrons represent how many years you have been in the EGHS jazz band.

The price per patch $30 if less than the minimum.

Prices may vary depending on how many orders per year.

Leaders earn their jerseys by helping our program with logistics, planning, set-up, and clean-up, and leading by example to help the program vision.

Leaders who are not leading by example will return their jerseys and will step down from the leadership team.
